| New Cumnock Parish Church 1660 - 1692 (interrupted1662 - 1688) Hugh Crawford (died 1692) |

| 1697 - 1701 James Gilchrist He moved to Dunscore in 1701 |

| 1706 - 1757 Thomas Hunter He died shortly after his retiral on 5th Jan.1760 aged 95 years and is buried in the Auld Kirk. |

1758 - 1796 James Young He was featured as Jamie Goose in the "Kirk's Alarm" by Robert Burns and wrote the First Statistical Account of the Parish. His memorial is in the Auld Kirk. |

1796 - 1829 William Reid He fell foul of the Heritors of the church when he cut down some old trees in the church grounds. The case went to the supreme court where he was acquitted. He too is buried in the Auld Kirk. |

1833 - 1834 Robert Craig After becoming the minister in the new building (the present church), he was moved by the Marquis of Bute to Rothesay |

| 1835 - 1843 Matthew Kirkland As a result of the Disruption, he led the entire congregation into the Free Church. He wrote the Second Statistical Account of the Parish |

1843 - 1894 Robert E Murray As a result of the Disruption, he inherited an empty Kirk. In 1886 he was joined by an assistant, James Millar. The Rev. Murray's memorial stone is also in the Auld Kirk |
New Cumnock Free Church 1843 - 1846 Matthew Kirkland He died in 1846 and is buried at Gorbals, Glasgow. His memorial stone is in the grounds of the Arthur Memorial Church 1846 - 1850 Gilbert Johnson He came from Mauchline and translated to Govan. Latterly, he became a minister of the Established Church 1851 - 1889 George Anderson He came from Glasgow and was ordained on 14/5/1851. Rev Scott was appointed colleague and successor on 13/12/1887. Rev. Anderson died at Ayr on 26/1/1889

Bank Free Church This started life as a prefabricated "Iron" church which was built in 1873 and served by a succession of part time and probationer ministers until 1878 - 1896 James Anderson His son was killed in the First World War and his name is on the Bank School Memorial

| 1894 - 1919 James Millar He was an accomplished musician and a German scholar. He wrote texts on church music and translated religious works from German into English. He died on the 5/3/1921 |
1889 - 1937 William Scott 1913 Arthur Memorial Free Church

1896 - 1923 John Mechie He oversaw the change from the prefabricated iron church to the stone built one and translated to Blairgowrie |
| 1920 - 1926 William Bodin He played in goal for New Cumnock United and left for New Ardrossan |
1924 - 1928 William Watt Dornan He came from Orkney and translated to Coatbridge. |

| 1926 - 1949 Andrew Burnet He came from Martyrs', Glasgow and was the minister when the United Free Church rejoined the Church of Scotland and the name of our church changed to New Cumnock Martyrs' Church |

New Cumnock Bank Church 1930 - 1944 William John Cameron He came from Midmar and demitted his charge in 1944

1950 - 1952 James Waugh He resigned his charge and took up an appointment at Riverside School, Falkirk |

came from Crossgates in Fife and was appointed colleague and successor
to the Rev. Scott on 27/2/1936 |
1945 - 1948 Dougald Cameron Alexander He translated to Broughty Ferry |
1953 - 1974 David C MacPherson He was the minister when this congregation united with the Bank Church to become New Cumnock Old Church He retired to the Isle of Arran |
1964 - 1966 James MacKenzie Waddell He was ordained and inducted on 30/4/1964. He left to go to the USA

1949 - 1959 Joseph Buchanan He was the last minister of this congregation. It was linked to the Martyrs' in 1960 and united in 1961.

1974 - 1983 Morris C Coull He oversaw the union with the Arthur Memorial before translating to Hillington. The church, once again, became New Cumnock Parish Church |

2001 - 2009 Rona M Young She came from Crosshouse and was the first woman minister in the history of the Parish. She translated to St Quivox and Auchincruive |
